During Sep 11-13, President Gu Haitao, on behalf of COMPLANT, attended the Second Belt and Road Summit themed on"From Vision to Action", jointly organized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Keynote speakers at the summit included Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, chief executive of the HKSAR, Mr. Ning Jizhe, vice minister of the NDRC, Ms. Gao Yan, vice minister of commerce, and Mr. Xie Feng, commissioner of MFA in HKSAR.

Chaired by Mr. Luo Gengrui, the president of HKTDC, the summit was attended by some 2500 representatives from the countries along the Belt and Road, including government officials, entrepreneurs and industry experts.
