Chairman Liu Xueyi led a delegation to visit the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh from March 23rd to April 1st, 2014.

Chairman Liu Xueyi paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Health, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Power and Energy as well as other relevant government officials respectively, and exchanged views with them on Sri Lanka’s current political and economic situation, investment climate and key potential projects COMPLANT Ltd is following up with.

During his stay in Bangladesh, Chairman Liu Xueyi met with the Minister and Secretary of the Ministry of Industries, the Chairman and director of BCIC as well as other high-level officials of the ruling government, and discussed with them the execution of the Shahjalal Fertilizer Factory project, the development opportunities in chemical engineering and power generation sectors as well as potential cooperative mode. Chairman Liu also paid a field visit to the Shahjalal Fertilizer Factory project construction site. Having heard the reports given by the on-site Management team and Project Supervisor, Chairman Liu spoke highly of the work carried out by on-site personnel and hoped that everyone would continue to make efforts towards the successful completion of the construction work while ensuring quality, safety and project schedule.

Chairman Liu’s visit laid a solid foundation for our company to further explore the markets of the two countries and achieve sustainable development through a diversified business portfolio.
