Mr. Liu Xueyi, Chairman of COMPLANT Group, and Mr. Han Hong, Vice President of COMPLANT Group, met with Dr. Christopher Tufton, Jamaican former Minister of Agriculture and fisheries at COMPLANT headquarters on July 25th, 2013.

Chairman Liu extended his warm welcome to Dr. Christopher Tufton, and expressed his sincere gratitude to him for his great support to Pan-Caribbean Sugar Company Ltd during his term. Dr. Tufton said he is willing to continuingly provide his support and assistance and fulfill his duty to be a competent consultant for COMPLANT Group and Pan-Caribbean Sugar Company Ltd. He also wished COMPLANT Group greater success in Caribbean region.In addition, Dr.Tufton made constructive proposals on financing and investment mode, rice project as well as opportunities in Surinam, Guyana and other Latin American countries. The meeting was held in a friendly environment. After the meeting, Mr. Gu invited Dr. Tufton for dinner.

Dr. Christopher Tufton came to China at the invitation of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for attending 2013 Caribbean Investment and Development Forum.

COMPLANT Group is the first Chinese company the delegation met with since their arrival in China.
