Complant International Sugar Industry Co., Ltd. (Complant Sugar Industry for short) purchased three sugar estates of Jamaica’s government through the signing over ceremony and handover ceremony that were held in Kingston on August 15th and 16th, 2011 successively. General Manager of Complant and President of Complant Sugar Industry Tang Jianguo and Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding attended the ceremonies and delivered ebullient speeches. Chinese ambassador to Jamaica Zheng Qingdian, Jamaican Agriculture Minister Robert Montague and Jamaican Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce Tufton were also president at the ceremonies.

Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding handed the symbol of sugar estates – a bunch of sugar cane to General Manager Tang Jianguo at the handover ceremony, which signified the formal handover of Jamaican sugar estates to Complant Sugar Industry.
